FOOTBALL IN ABA: YES I DO

July 17,2022 By Mark Obuenem Onyinwo The captain of Enyimba football club of Aba, Augustine Tunde Aladapo yesterday before their kick off match with Dakkada fc, proposed to his long time girl friend kneeling down right inside the peach. Captain Augustine Tunde Aladapo, the 26 years old attacking midfielder joined Enyimba football club of Aba on November 1, 2017. Augustine who has played in young clubs such as Tunlapa academy,in 2010, Rapsody fc in 2011-2012, Teap fc 2012-2013 and Court of appeal fc 2013-2014 all these clubs in Nigeria. Augustine Tunde Aladapo, joined Ifeanyi Ubah fc on a free transfer in January 21, 2014.in November 21, 2015 he joined kwara united also on a free transfer; in November 16, 2016 he joined Gombe United still on a free transfer and on November 1,2017 also joined Enyimba football club of Aba on a free transfer deal where he now plays till date as a captain and has also won a trophy for the club.

17 July,2022 By Mark Obuenem Onyinwo The independent national electoral commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the people's democratic party (PDP) Sen.Ademola Adeleke winner of the Governorship election conducted in the thirty local government areas of the state. Sen. Ademola Adeleke was declared winner after polling a total vote of 403,371 votes in all thirty local governments, with his second runner up of the All progressive congress  (Apc) Gov. Oyetola with a total vote of 375,027 votes. With these results figures power has changed hands in Osun State, as an incubent governor was voted out of office, making the state a PDP state for the next four years.

Hopefully ASUU might  move to suspend the ongoing strike  for the sake of their staff and students of the Nigerian universities who knows... Hopefully !!

BREAKING: INEC GIVES DEADLINE

  July 16, 2022 By Mark Obuenem Onyinwo The independent national electoral commission has declared the 31st of July,2022 as the deadline for continues voter registration and collection of (PVCs). The electoral commission through it's spoke person, made the declaration yesterday. As the 2023, general election draws closer the electoral body has previously extended the voter registration and collection in order to enable and accommodate citizens in participating effectively in exercising their franchise.

The Federation of International football Association (FIFA) has confirmed that a new semi- automated offside technology will be used at the 2022 world cup in Qatar. This means football fans will be missing the presence of lines men on the pitch.
